Designed for demanding applications where the seal may come into contact with engine oil, transmission oil, coolant and antifreeze, Super RTV provides a durable flexible seal with excellent temperature and chemical resistance. Its non-acidic curing system is non-corrosive and makes it suitable for use around sensitive automotive components, including electronic components and lambda sensors.

Surface Preparation
For optimum adhesion, surfaces should be dry, clean and free from dust, oil, grease and contamination. Existing sealant should be completely removed before applying the new material.
Important Application Note
When sealing components such as oil sumps and gearboxes, take care to prevent excess sealant from entering the component. Würth recommends joining the surfaces after application, lightly pressing and sliding them together, separating them again to remove any sealant displaced internally, then reassembling within a maximum of approximately 5 minutes. Allow sufficient curing time before putting the component back into service.
