Musashi Oil Seal, a replacement camshaft cover gasket for 1.8 VVTi engines for the MX5 MK2.5 2001-2005.
A different gasket is required for 1.6 and 1.8 variants pre 2001 without VVT.
Made of neoprene, these deteriorate over time and often require replacing to make a good leak free seal with the cylinder head. Please note, it is correct for these gaskets not to be joined between cylinder 1 and 2.
